Apa itu Cause and Effect Sentence
Dari pengertian diatas, maka kita bisa simpulkan bahwa cause and effect berarti sebab dan akibat. Hubungan dari causes and effect ini saling berkesinambungan. Artinya, jika ada sebab maka akan ada akibat. Begitu pula sebaliknya, jika ada akibat maka pasti ada sebab.
Dengan demikian, kita bisa katakan bahwa kalimat cause and effect, merupakan sebuah kalimat yang di dalamnya mengandung setidaknya satu sebab dan satu akibat.

- I woke up late this morning because I didn’t set my alarm.
Artinya: Aku bangun kesiangan pagi ini karena aku tidak menyalakan alarmku.

Artinya: Adik perempuanku menangis karena ia lapar.

Artinya: Aku mendapatkan nilai tes Bahasa Inggris yang sangat bagus karena aku memahami materinya dengan sangat baik

I got a fever because I got caught in the rain yesterday.

CAUSE, + CONJUNCTION + EFFECT

EFFECT + PREPOSITION + NOUN PHRASE
I couldn’t wake up early this morning because of going to bed late.
